Poem for Dionysos
As I watch the flame dance
And I think of dreams once transpired
Have I lost the chance?
I think not, not having conspired
Ebouleus
I cry out for help, knowing
Hands are there, ready
To prepare, releasing
Process being all but steady
Lyseus
Without guidance ever present
Fear would soon take hold
Dreams, and not all pleasant
Make me most things, if not bold
Saotes
Following the path set before
Through the ever-flowing wine
Follow what is not lore
to have wounds balm with ivy vine
Dimetor
And I think of dreams once transpired
Have I lost the chance?
I think not, not having conspired
Ebouleus
I cry out for help, knowing
Hands are there, ready
To prepare, releasing
Process being all but steady
Lyseus
Without guidance ever present
Fear would soon take hold
Dreams, and not all pleasant
Make me most things, if not bold
Saotes
Following the path set before
Through the ever-flowing wine
Follow what is not lore
to have wounds balm with ivy vine
Dimetor
