Apollo and Hyacinth Empty Apollo and Hyacinth

I recently read a history book that talked about a festival the Spartans had called the Hyakinthia, in which the God and Hero were honored much like Athena and Erechtheus at the Panathenaia. Does anyone have any credible information on the details of this observance?
