Hello, everybody!

I joined hellenismos.us about two months ago, but didn't use it much. Then, about half a month ago, I tried to visit the website, only to find it was down. I am glad someone has taken the initiative and created a new forum.

I go by Aster Icarus online, and I've been a practicing Hellenic Polytheistic Reconstructionist for about six months now. I am a US Navy recruit, and I ship for basic training on August 14th of this year.

While I am still new to the path, I have been drawn close to a handful of deities, namely Poseidon (which is only natural, as I will be a sailor before the year is out), Athena, and also to Apollo and Artemis.

I look forward to interacting with fellow Olympianists

I actually have Ερωδιός and his website to thank for finding this forum I found the link in his Link page and nearly danced a jig!

Yes, we've all been busy trying to get the link out as much as possible, to help the forum climb upwards in the page rankings of search engines and the like :-) It's good to know this is paying off, hopefully more people from the old forum will find this one :-D
