Noumenia preperations Empty Noumenia preperations

During the Noumenia, lots of Hellenist clean up around the house, wash dishes and clean their shrine. I do much the same, but one ting I was wondering is, when cleaning the shrine, does anyone wash their statues? If so or not, what do you do to clean your shrine?

I don't have the luxury of a shrine, but I believe my teacher cleans his statues of the Gods with khernips.
