Yo, hi there,  

I'll just be adding my name here, I guess. I'm also back (same name), like a couple of others, it took some time, I admit. Reasons? Plenty, most of them private.

I'm not willing to compete for 'weeks hellenistic geeks'-award and 'the real believer'- trophy, I just need a forum to pose a question or two and try answering a couple of them in return. Did I say I'm pretty straightforward?  

Maybe I've been already corrupting the forums rules by this, but I've been spending some time with this religion and I don't want to be confronted with too much of the esoteric side of it. I don't see it as 'new paganism, and I'm trying to establish my way of living. I didn't come to Hellenism through experiencing a sudden call or anything, it has been with me most of my life, I just did not name it that specifically.

Nuff said, I appreciate criticism.

@Anniemal: Welcome to the forum. You were part of the old forum, too? I do not remember your nickname. However, nice to meet another German hellenist.

Well, yes, I had joined the forum about 3 years ago but spent the last 1,5 years reading some of the greek texts to be able to follow the conversations. you could say I did some basic research on philosophy. It took my already scarce spartime and it seems I kind of lost track, huh?

I had some contact with Nordadler, but he has vanished from fb, too.

Nice to read you! (Puh, schøn von dir zu høren!).

Via FB I had some contact with Nordadler, and he used to live around my area. But he was about to take his Abitur (final exams) last year and has probably gone to college.

He wanted to stay in the closet religiously, sensing repressions from his conservative social environment. Meanwhile his account on fb has been erased.
