Word art wall celebr the gods
At our place, there's this hallway with this odd decorated wall with a wall-paper starting to get a bit worn and ugly now and it's making nobody happy. It's from the previous owner who put it up back in the 90ies when it was popular to have a differently decorated wall in some of your rooms. In another colour or another wall paper. I've been thinking of removing that one now, and perhaps making a word art wall, celebrating the gods. Something like this perhaps.
I believe it would look great, I only need to figure out how to really arrange the names of the gods. Hephaestos got a bit small, I think, mostly because his name is long. But I want simple and bold fonts without serifes and I believe I like the white upon ice blue.
So what do you guys think?

@Linda: I do not think so. The name "Hephaestos" has the right size in my opinion. Perhaps you should make the name "Hestia" larger instead of the name "Ares" (but of course not if you are a follower of "Ares") because, again in my opinion, the Goddess "Hestia" has a special position in the pantheon as she is the one who receives the first and the last sacrifice.
I like the colours and the arrangement.
Maybe you can put a frame around the ice blue surface, a typically greek-looking pattern.
Does a pattern like the following one apply to you?

Thanks for the tips! The sizes were chosen to make the name end up in nice columns, but I'm not sure whether to stich with that design or not. And I might do maeander, I've been thinking of that as well but then just down by the floor and up at the top rather than making a square. I'll see, this is still very much a wip.

I think having a god illustration on the wall would be not a good idea.
