Fauns/Satyrs and nymphs
Our stories are filled with accounts of human or god offspring with animals and/or nymphs. Now, as sure as we believe in our gods, I would expect we believe these creatures existed at one time, or even STILL.
Do you believe in Fauns/Satyrs? Do you count this as evidence? Or a freak occurance in nature?

Countless varieties of daimones, certainly, of which satyri and nymphs represent two sorts.
Satyri, as attendants of Vakkhos, in the Orphic religion, represent the many extensions of the Aetherial power around and about the terrestrial world. Their depiction is deeply significant — their deer/goatlike attributes joined with human ones are a nod to the symbolic attributes of the personae of the Aether (i.e. Irikepaios-Tauroboas, Zefs, and Vakkhos) albeit suited in magnitude to their sphere of being, earth, rather than the entire cosmos. Satyri are daimones, and real entities, but their attributes are figurative — they aren't an 'undiscovered species' for the cryptozoologists, haha.

Nymphs are more generally any terrestrial daimon — though they are of a sort more similar to Souls than to Aetherial numina. Exegetically, they often represent Souls.
question
Ok I feel kind of stupid for asking this but what does Diamon mean?
