Anybody else notice?

Has anyone else noticed that Hellenismos.us redirects to the ysee english forum? (Which appears to be dead for the most part too.)

before that it was redirecting to the hellenismos.us facebook page. I don't know why they can't just put the old site up, seems like a lot of hassle for nothing.

I think it's probably for the best — the old site was overloaded with spambots with only a few posting members. Redirecting folks to YSEE English is probably good. They are a quite respectable organization.

Except I tried to sign up for it in january, and sent in for several more activation emails, and never heard anything back from them.

I think he should have just left the forum visible and simply disabled posting. While it did become overrun by spambots in the end, there was still a lot of worthwhile discussion and information that had developed over the course of the forum's run.

I have to admit, I am quite upset at Timothy.
I respect the fact that he is involved in politics where he is (from what I read-though I am curious as to where, what office) He should have given us a heads up, or signed the site over to someone who would keep it going...
Surely I am not alone at this.....
