There are a few religious rites that can be performed. You could offer sacrifices to Terrestrial Mercury [Χθόνιος Ἑρμῆς], who is the escort of the deceased, as well as to Cora Proserpina [Κόρη Περσεφόνη].

You might also offer a palliative sacrifice to the soul of the deceased. This is the rite for the dead as it is done in Orphism: place a photograph, if you have one, of the deceased as the central image, place a saucer of water, a lit candle, and some flowers (red or white flowers are most appropriate). Invite the attention of the deceased's soul with an invocation and incense (camphor or myrrh are appropriate, sulphur is best if you can handle it). Make an offering to the soul of honeyed milk or dark red wine.

Then either recite or offer a written or printed card or plaque of the Funerary Plate, which is a short 'instruction book' for the dead that, traditionally, has been placed in the graves of Orphic faithful. Several versions exist, but they are all almost identical, varying only in minor phrasing.

Here is a fairly standard version, and the one used in my lineage today:

Thou shalt find to the left of the House of Hades a well-spring, 
and by the side thereof standing a white cypress. 
To this well-spring approach not near.
But thou shalt find another by the Lake of Memory,
cold water flowing forth, and there are guardians before it. 
Say: "I am a child of Earth and of starry Heaven; 
but my race is of Heaven alone. This ye know yourselves. 
And lo! I am parched with thirst and am dying. 
Give me quickly the cold water flowing forth from the Lake of Memory."
And they will give thee to drink from the holy well-spring, 
and thereafter among the other heroes thou shalt have lordship.

I have also seen a translation of one of the lamellae that went thus:

You will find to the left of the house of Hades a spring, and standing by it a white cypress. Descending to it, the souls of the dead refresh themselves. Do not even go near to this spring!
You will find another one, from the Lake of Memory, cold water pouring forth; there are guards before it. They will ask you, with astute wisdom, what you are seeking in the darkness of murky Hades.
"Who are you? Where are you from?"
You tell them the entire truth. Say, "I am a child of Earth and Starry Sky. My name is _____. My race is heavenly; you yourself know this. I am parched with thirst and I am dying. But quickly grant me cold water from the Lake of Memory to drink!"
And they will announce you to the Chthonian King, and they will grant you to drink from the divine spring. And thereafter you will rule with other heroes.
You, too, having drunk, will go along the sacred road with other glorious initiates and possessed by Dionysos travel.

They say essentially the same thing.
