Any further description of it anywhere? That summary could easily be an ad for another citationless Jungian mess.

I happen to know for a fact that it's a great book. It speaks directly from the perspective of a Hellenic Polytheist in a religious and historical context.

Yes, but is it rigorous?  Does it make arguments based on the historical facts based on Theseus?

The reason I ask is because there are a multiplicity of books about deities by self-declared polytheists which just hash out personal interpretations and experiences that actually have no root in actual practice.

The work is based some on the author's interpretation, but he does not just pull things out of his butt. He bases his conclusions on history, myth and religion.

Out of Phlegethon is right, I think, to be skeptical, though. Psychobabble archetypalist messes and ill-educated, rambling, personal diary entries are both a dime a dozen on such subjects.

Personally, I wouldn't risk paying $20 for it – that's rather pricey for a short 160 page paperback of uncertain ethos.

Well, each to his own, but I happen to know the author personally, and he's a very serious Hellene. He's doesn't have time for BS.

I am the author of this book. It contains numerous historical and mythological sources and is written by a Hellenic Polytheist for Hellenic Polytheists. I use history, religion, and myth to make a reasonable story of the life of Theseus, as well as talking about my own life stories when I used Thesian virtue to make it out of life's mazes and past its monsters. The book ends showing how one can invoke Him into their lives.

Well, speak of the author, and the author appears!

Welcome. It is good to hear the rigor with which you have put together your publication.
