What Holidays to add?

There are a lot of Holidays that are simpley the names of the Divine worshiped, should these go in the Calendar??

Like the days at the beginning of every month? Probably not needed, though guess we should talk about them But all the other Holidays could probably go up, though up to you to decided how many minor ones to put up, like Pandia and Asklepieia were/are this month, but theyre kind over-shadowed by the Dionysian Festival.

I don't actually do anything particular for the City Dionysia aside from normal daily liturgy. I see the Old Dionysia (the Anthesteria) as the most important, and most religious, of the three spring Dionysiai, as well as the most meaningful.

The Lenaia seems to have been merged with the Anthesteria even in Antiquity, and the City Dionysia was primarily a theatre festival, with some religious elements certainly, but not, I think, to the level of the Anthesteria.

Ah but I'm rambling . . . these are just my thoughts.

I've found a page that has some information on the holidays, I am a bit skeptical on their knowledge but they seem to get their basic information right as far as I can tell, turns out I cant post links until this first week is over however

What are you doing for Anthesteria?

The new wine aspect is not very relevant in Britain, so I just keep the third day (this Thursday, of course) as a festival of Hades and Persephone: libations, incense, daffodils, a donation to a hospice, and two indifferently sung hymns.

For the new wine, I make offerings of wine, incense and fruits to Dionysos, and then I will make offerings to Hermes, as the souls of the dead are supposed to be visiting us and we shoo them away at the end of the festival. I guess I understand your mention of Hades and Persephone with this in mind. I guess I'm thinking more of Hermes Psychopompos needing to come and fetch the souls back and lead them back to Hades.
