Is there some kind of rite that a Hellene can do for blessing people and places, such as consensual friends and homes?

Certainly, a variety of such possible things.

What exactly are you seeking to do? I'm not sure I fully understand the question.

Like healing of illnesses or bodily afflictions.

Most appropriate would certainly be to sacrifice to Asclepius, Health [Salus/Ὑγιεία], and/or Telesphorus. Apollo is often worshipped for dispelling illness, as is his sister.

Any prayer might be directed to any deity, however. There are typical domains and associations, surely, but it is not mechanistic.

Heracles, for instance, was often invoked against disease, and even the Dioscuri.

Truly, averting of sickness was among the most common petitions to just about any deity.
