Do we know anything about the Trojan religion? Homer tells us they worshiped some of the same Gods as the Greeks.

We really don't know almost anything for certain about the Trojan people. The epics really don't depict the Trojans as having any particular social or cultural differences from the Greeks. Even their names in Homer are usually Greek.

The only other Classical source we have that talks about the Trojans is the Aeneid, which depicts them as, essentially, Romans (which is understandable, given that Virgil's prime purpose of the Aeneid was to genealogically connect the Romans with the Trojans)

However, the actual people who lived at the city of Ilium around the time it was destroyed in some event in the 2nd millennium BCE (which is now believed to be, likely, the fight that inspired the Iliad), were probably Luwians, similar to the other Hittite/Luwian people who lived throughout Anatolia.

We know a bit about the Luwians' religion, although not very much:

Do you think the Romans are the remnants of the Trojans?

Well, that isn't exactly the way the story goes – but in essence, yes, I do.

I believe the story of Aeneas, I believe that Virgil's song of arms and a man is divinely inspired; written by Virgil's hand, but guided by the Gods. The Latin is so beautiful, and so perfect. It has a profound effect on me, just reading it – a holy feeling. The rhythm of the Latin is like a heartbeat.

I would say yes, I pretty much believe the Aeneid is literally true, and that he and the remnants of his band of refugees made up a portion of the founding bloodline of Alba Longa, which would spawn Rome centuries later.

I find myself sympathetic toward the Trojans in the war. I think I would have sided with them. Crying or Very sad

The Romans and perhaps many other peoples in Italy(Italy, because of its geographical position, is a "meeting place" between south-eastern Europe and western-central Europe) were probably a mix of archaic Greeks, archaic Celts and other peoples.
