P. Tabouris 'Αρχαία Κιθάρα'
ΑΡΧΑΙΑ ΚΙΘΑΡΑ
Petros Tabouris has numerous fine albums of beautiful music, include several of laouti and outi music I like to use for liturgy, but he also has a few, like this one, of ancient-style Greek music.

Erodius, if you like some of the stuff by Tabouris, you may also enjoy:
Ensemble Melpomen - Ancient Greek Music
Ensemble de Organographia - Music of the Ancient Sumerians, Egyptians & Greeks, Music of the Ancient Greeks
Synaulia - Music of Ancient Rome (I & II)
Atrium Musicae de Madrid - Musique de la Grece Antique
Musica Romana - Symphonica Panica
Michael Levy - Anything you can find by him (lyre player; he has stuff on itunes)
These ensembles generally produce stuff in similar terrain to what we can figure out about the music of antiquity, but with adornments and embellishments. A few of them have legitimate musicology afficianados, but I still think the idea of ever being to re-create music from antiquity is probably impossible-- But one can get somewhat close. In any case, the evocative atmosphere of say Synaulia's Ludus (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13_kRntszO4), or the more sparse, modest feel of Organographia's take on an instrumental exercise (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQqdjsrhDHw), are beautiful, and can at the very least brighten your experience to a similar level to latter-day reconstructions of eroded sculptures.

I have all but the first two in my music library — I've never run across either of those as far as I recall.
I'll check them out – thanks.
