Hello All
Glad to be here and hope to learn all I can. I live in the Bible belt. More specifically, the belt buckle. I have found that trying to find anything in my hometown on any other religions is always hard, but luckily I found this forum.

Hullo! I also live in the Bible Belt (although a couple states north and a few west ) so I know how you feel. I don't think my local public library even has a copy of the Odyssey or the Iliad
In any case, welcome! ^^

Hello and welcome!
And I thought I had problems finding books in Nebraska. I think the corn belt is almost as bad that way as the bible belt. At the city library the best I can find are very basic books on ancient greece in the juvenile non-fiction area or a few on greek history in the adult non-fiction.
If you have a Half-price Books store in your area try the metaphysical or philosophy section. I just found a few interesting books there in the last week or two. Check back often as I think their intake rate on those kinds of books can be very erratic.

Re: Hello All
I've said it before, and I'll say it again — Amazon and eBay should be everyone's best friends.
There are lots of things that are nearly impossible to acquire unless one is willing to do a bit of online shopping.
But be warned, it does become an addiction for some . . . once one realizes what is available with simply a few mouse clicks.

Re: Hello All
At this point, my wife cringes when she even hears the words Ebay or Amazon.
